There are. But adults are selfish with money and prestige and hog it up for themselves and denigrate kids and teens. It's not a cognitive barrier; it's a language barrier and elitism. Comprehension and production of philosophical wisdom (its conceptualization) can be understood/produced via analogy. If you don't think kids capable of complicated thought, just talk to any kid who is into Pokemon and can weight out abilities against each and speculate proper combinations. Logic is a game like Pokemon. Know the rules, anybody can play. Even if you don't know the rules, you can still be correct.
