Oh I'm proud of my nerd badge I consider being called a
   "philosopher nerd" a high compliment, no matter who says it.

   Yes, "nerd" bothered me in the 3rd grade. But a year of "sticks
   and stones may break my bones" recited on the way home from
   school, knowing it was bullshit but trying anyway, led to 4th
   grade "me" laughing in the face of being called nerd. But I
   didn't laugh. I just said "Thank you, You're right. I am. Now
   what?"
