Yeah I've had the same experiences.** The whole childhood adulthood thing is a myth to me.* It's a big myth; hard to avoid it, but a myth just the same. Some people romanticize childhood.* I don't think I ever did.* It's hard work, forced labor, school sucks, and you only get a few hours a day or on the weekends to do what you want. As a kid, I wanted to believe that "adults had all the answers".** But teacher after teacher, adult after adult, disappointed me.* I never got a great role model.* I just had to find the best from different people and piece together what I thought,* "A Good Person" would be and try to be that good person. I just didn't like being judged by my age.* I could've been born in 1997.* Then I'd be 18.* I could've been born in 1819.* Then I'd be dead.* I could've been born in 3928.* Then I wouldn't exist yet. It's why I don't understand ageism.* Nobody picked when they were born.* It just happened that way.
