lol I actually just started looking into philosophy about nine
   months ago. I avoided it for the first 42 years of my life for
   the most part because it struck me as gossip. [trying to figure
   out what dead men were REALLY meaning based on what they said].

   Of course i was oversimplifying and enjoyed it once I dove in.

   Scientific method is good for what it's good for, but it's not
   good for everything. But it's a handy heuristic and I recommend
   it for a lot of knowledge discovery processes.
