If it wasn't for publish-or-perish, I might put all of the blame
   on the morons and Journalists. I agree they deserve the bulk,
   but it seems to be naive to consider that the posing of the
   original hypothesis that led to a conclusion is necessarily of
   pure and untainted motive.
