Oh no apologies necessary - you're absolutely correct and I was
   in error by assigning its traditionally known role of money.
   Economics is based upon the concept of The Rational Man, afaik -
   Adam Smith was quite the genius, although I personally believe
   economics may be showing its age, considering advances in
   Cognitive Psychology . Still very useful though.
