Agreed. I was lucky. I was 11 when I got my first computer - back in 1983. Hooked up to my TV set. Taught myself programming. Got a PC in 1988. Got online with it in 1988. BBS' mostly. 1990. College. Internet. never looked back. Ask me to do something on a computer, and I'll make it happen somehow as quickly as I can. Maybe not with polish, but I'm a "get 'er done" kinda guy. If I was in a world without computers? I'd probably be making little machines in the backyard that made stuff. I'd fly balloons to places to connect to random people. Equivalent to computers and the 'net. I REALLY wouldn't want to have to ride a horse to send message to you though. I'd have a courier. But computers are so much more of a blank slate to do things with. I love 'em.
