Oddly, I never did. I had friends that did. I was fascinated by
   them doing it, because I didn't. It didn't bother me that they
   did it - it wasn't lack of empathy for the spider or the person
   - but because it wasn't my pasttime, I wanted to understand why
   it was theirs.
