   importance to.

   If I was in a country where "individuality" wasn't a 'thing'
   like it is in the West - where The Community is of a higher
   importance than "the self" - then my personal moral code might
   not be as important. I wouldn't even consider it really. My
   satisfaction in life wouldn't be based on my urges but instead
   on how well I flow with the community.

   China is an excellent example of that. Yet, even there, it
   depends. Same as the West. Some people are community morality
   oriented, some people are individual morality oriented.
