I'm skeptical of the connections I make because I've come close
   to getting screwed by an ideology that seemed "too good to be
   true". I never "dive in 100%". Always outside looking in, which
   is like feeling awkward 100% of the time - yet it also gives me
   a broader perspective.. just... without the depth of experience.
   I engage by empathy more than experience.
