   mind on that [1]Woody Hoerauf - I found very things involving
   group vs group that don't analogize perfectly to sports smile
   emoticon (ie - everything involving the behaviors of humans in
   groups ends up looking like sports to me, politics especially so
   - and I'm not much for sports. To play? Yes. To "team"? No).

   and Like you, [2]Jera Wolfe I never heard of Doug Stanhope. A
   few months ago, I saw this very same meme and thought, "Wow,
   what wise philosophy of modern times said such words that are so
   amazingly global and true?"

   And, so, Youtube.

   And thought, "A-ha! A standup comic!" and smiled, for Stand up
   comedians are some of the few paid philosopher positions
   available.

   George Carlin was my philosopher. Kids today have Chris Rock who
   is also excellent. Doug Stanhope belongs firmly in the mix as
   the Ancient Greek orators of our time.
