this is a good example of Artificial Intelligence. Stephen
   Hawking was likely a little spooked at the progress made when
   they fitted him with this new predictive system a couple of
   years ago. It was vastly superior to the stuff he used before,
   which was circa late 1980s/early 1990s. I could be wrong, but I
   think having a system that really *did* seem to know what he was
   thinking might have been a tad spooky and started the chain of
   events.
