When my vocal chords, "Dropped the Bass" I was pissed off for
   YEARS. The highest I could manage was a G over High C... and I
   couldn't talk for 1/2 hr afterwards.

   But after "The Drop" [add dramatic music], I could manage an E
   Flat over High C *if* it was freezing cold outside (New Jersey)
   and I had cough drops ready.*

   I wanted to hit that painful G again. Doesn't matter I gained an
   octave below it. Why we have fancy balloons necks squeaks to
   talk with I'll never know. Human body is weird.
