That's the one smile emoticon One thing that always impressed me
   about old Star Trek and the 80s/90s ones (although I think it
   was less and less acceptable as the years went on), were the
   shameless crotch popping. The clear message I read from it was,
   "yeah, it's gender. So what?" which to me fit into the spirit of
   the Gene Roddenberry thing.
