Oh I'm proud to be a weirdo. I never fit in the bell curves at
   school and anytime I find a group to fit into, it gets shut
   down. Boy Scout Troop? I was the last member standing. Private
   school I went to in high school? Shut down a year after I left
   after 124 years of operation. Neither of those things had
   anything much to do with me, but it was a good lesson in the
   frailty of allegiance. I've got dozens of other examples, but
   it's why I don't generally rally behind causes in groups. I've
   hacked for good, but done it alone. I've fought for causes I
   believed, but I use my name and drag nobody else into it. I also
   don't expect anybody else to do things the way I do them.
