It's happening today as well. We get caught up in the myth of
   continual progress and the past just gets recycled. Try to find
     something on Google before 2009.* Then find something on the
    Internet around 1998.* VERY difficult... and that's only a few
    years ago. Go back to 1969?* extremely difficult.* We see the
   events for posterity but once the mission was over, they had to
    get back to work, do other stuff, life moved on for them. Same
    thing is going to happen to "The Cloud".* I use the cloud and
   enjoy it, but it won't last either.* Same short-sighted thinking
                    and few technical historians.
