Oh of course.* I'm very grateful for the cloud.* And of course,
   a drastic EITHER/OR scenario.* [either the cloud or nothing],
   I'd pick the cloud :) I utilize the cloud at every opportunity,
   making backups of backups and such.* Really important stuff I
   put up on the Internet Archive; that's why they have it.* I have
   a long way to go with that though. Yeah, granite is about the
   only way to be permanent.* I don't think paper is superior; I
   would HATE to have to go back to paper-only.* Cloud is much
   better. My criticism is only with the nature of business.*
   They're short-sighted, so it's up to us to make sure we backup
   somewhere - even if it's in another part of the internet or
   whatever. Think about Facebook or Google+.* When they go under
   and/or wipe their servers... which they will... it always
   happens...* (hostile takeover, change of business model,
   whatever) - what happens to everything within it? Gone.* So, I
   save my own stuff in a few places.* It's the best I can do.
