I love the way you think and I enjoy listening to your opinions
   about this stuff.* I think we're on the same page with these
   things. Yeah, the gratitude thing; it's one of the reasons why I
   don't mind reasonable religious people being reasonable, just as
   I don't mind non-religious people being reasonable;* if there's
   a human system that results in someone stepping outside of
   themselves so to speak, and seeing that the Universe DOESN'T
   begin and end with them... it's one less arrogant SOB in the
   world... and one more nice person. Not that I expect even nice
   ppl to always be nice... but, well, I like nice.* I like
   authentic.* I don't mind people being sharp with their honesty
   either; that has its place too.* But I think the world can use a
   little less, "I hate [x]!" and a little more, "This is what I
   think; you may think differently", the more the world will get
   along with each other just a little better. Of course I could be
   wrong.* Perhaps total elimination of a perceived enemy is the
   answer for a better planet.* But I prefer ppl seeking ways to
   get along :)
