It's very possible. *That's also one of my favorite icons from
   the time I was with the Eastern Orthodox Church; it was in the
   1990s, and at work, we had a fancy COLOR laser printer. *It
   printed using WAX! *- WAX! Somewhere in my files, I have a very
   deep rich wax covered piece of paper with that very same image
   on it, that I grabbed from online at the time; it's ultimately
   likely from the very same scan that someone did way back in the
   1990s to some computer somewhere and put it on the Internet.
   While I'm not religious now, and your viewpoint could very well
   be true (I don't know, and I know it was for humor) - I've
   always liked the art form of iconography; they litter it with
   symbolism galore. and the strangely shaped bodies and faces and
   perspectives aren't accidental; they have writings dating back
   over 1000 years on iconography technique that explains its
   meanings.
