Roots. While I went to the Methodist Church in town growing up, I starting to realize my religious roots were Theosophy / Sci-Fi / Edgar Cayce. I kept the Sci-Fi, at least the Doctor Who / Star Trek / mainstream sci-fi interest. My grandmother was into Edgar Cayce. She was into Star Trek and Doctor Who. I never thought of it as religion but it more or less is religious, even if it's called spiritual. While I don't believe in ancient aliens, UFOs and the like, I don't fault those that do. I suppose it explains a little better for me why I ended up agnostic at present but don't really care whatpeople call themselves or follow: Perhaps a rejection of Catholic can likely lead to atheist and a rejection of New Age can likely lead to agnostic. I doubt I could ever be atheist. No need for extremes. But agnostic i can do until a better label comes along that's more descriptive.
