So many fallacies. It's a religion in itself and fallacy is the sin. Do you want license to dream of something that isn't? To wish of shoulds and oughts and could bes and maybes? I'm ok with that. But it's important to keep the distinctions very clear, and this relates to the OP: RIGHT NOW: a) I am speaking fiction. b) I am speaking fact. Without that distinction being as clear as possible, we humans _seem to_ freely go back and forth from thought experiment (fiction) into "look at what these people _really_ seem to do" as evidence to support the thought experiment... which.. is a fiction. It is the danger of metaphor broadly applied.
