My pet is the Internet. I feed it words and clicks. It returns
   my feeding with buffering circles: the Internet's equivalent of
   a cat butt in your face... and even looks the same.
   But generally I like cats and people. People make good pets.
   Also dirt. I like pet dirt, but sometimes it rolls around in my
   sister-in-laws dog.
