Eh, in the USA at least, Freemasons is a do-gooder boys' club,
   like Rotary or Elks Lodge or whatever. People use it to make
   business connections, etc.

   They love to play up the spooky mystery side 'cause it's good
   for their image but it's just an old fashioned lodge .. which is
   probably kinda fun. I'm just not much of a joiner.
