The amazing amount of self-perpetuating ahistorical myths
   floating around the online atheist movement over the past 13-14
   years has been an amazing thing to witness.

   I remember the days of Douglas Adams when he was on Usenet in
   the early 1990s. Now THAT MAN is a good example of an atheist.
   I'm not atheist - never was, but he did it right.
