Ah ok - yes, After about 30 seconds, I looked him up and yes, I
   know of him. He has some unorthodox notions about cellular
   memory.

   His ideas have 'resonated' (pun intended) with me in the past.
   While i don't entirely agree with him, I do think that there's a
   strong relationship between function and ... oh what's that
   magic word... I keep forgetting it... Ah! Yes, Affordances.

   I have similar ideas regarding the importance of ... ugh what's
   that word I'm forgetting ... ah! Hysteresis in nature. Past
   inputs contribute to and influence current behavior and with all
   systems being ultimately OPEN systems, not all past inputs _can_
   be accounted for, especially in systems that are quite complex.

   In short, similar to the limitations of "lab" - the concept of
   pure objectivity; one of the greater findings of the post
   Einstein Quantum Physics. It's not the uncertainty that is so
   amazing; it is that some things can't be fully isolated from
   their environments, which necessarily INCLUDES researchers,
   measuring tools, etc.

   I haven't investigated him 100%; I remember there being
   SOMETHING in his ideas that made me go, "Ok, stop here. This is
   where he departs. Don't get sucked into this logic chain"

   Departs from what? I don't know. Just a sense. I'm careful with
   fully adopting "completed ideas" once I find the "fatal flaw".
