Scientists are sometimes mocked by comedians at their poor
   knowledge of human history.

   I actually couldn't watch Neil DeGrasse Tyson anymore after he
   gave a history of religion that made me shake my head like,
   "what? what!? WHAT!?" - he's not well versed and for someone so
   important to so many people, I really wish he'd get an historian
   on his team.

   Then again, I forget that i'm well versed in history and think
   everybody should be and should cut him some slack. Actually no,
   I'm not that well versed. There's a whole lotta stuff I don't
   know much about, just broad overviews really.... and I'm
   disappointed in my low knowledge of South America, Korea, China,
   and many other places.
