There's several variations on the theme, yes. The first was embodied cognition and being the family starter, I use that as an overall catch-all for the rest of them. I tried figuring out excitedly "which one!" - extended mind, enacted cognition, embodied cognition, and a few others, little nuances, some with large consequences... ...and then I realized.. WAIT! Why am I struggling for such precision! The 'gist' was similar enough in each to erase the dualistic line and to remove platonic forms. And should I find myself in a discussion with the nuanced differences brought out, I can then puzzle over the distinctions better with other minds present.
