That is a difficult question.
   I find it morally challenging to have a profit motive for what I
   consider a good theory to be: informational.

   So it's likely I would provide it freely or at low cost and
   without exclusivity.

   But if someone uses it for nefarious purposes, I would not feel
   responsible for I will have provided it at what I consider to be
   reasonable and not tied into potential ends. [by placing a high
   value on something and receiving it, I have then morally tied
   myself into the results, for I have profited].

   i don't know if that clarifies my perspective for you but they
   are my first thoughts on it.
