The main flaw in both of the premises, imo, is that they each
   assume a cause/effect ontology, rather than a systemic ontology.
   In a systemic ontology, free will is neither confirmed nor
   denied. While it leaves us basically in the same place, a
   systemic view allows for either, neither or both views to
   prevail, so long as it's functioning.
