Ran out of cat food. They usually get dry cheap stuff that they
   tolerate. Forgot to pick some up today. So, I mushed a small
   piece of whole wheat bread into canned salmon and kept mushing
   it with a spoon until it was the texture of ... mush. Two
   tablespoons each cat. Separate rooms. 10 minutes later, two cats
   licking themselves happily, smiling if cats could smile. [it
   wasn't a hardship because for us, Salmon is one of those, "yeah,
   we _should_ eat that one of these days... " "yeah we should"
   type things]
