Well the good news is, most men who go into the men's room are going into the men's room to use the men's room. I think most men have a protective instinct towards kids just as much as most women do. I've used public restrooms my whole life and never saw anything strange going on. It probably does - I usually think of Rest Stops and Greyhound Bus Stations as "be careful here" places. But busy restrooms are just that. Hurry up, do what you gotta do and get out. I asked my mother what she did with me at that age. She said she'd give me about 3 minutes. She'd stand outside of the men's room. Now, she says I liked to play with the dryer. But I know I'm a little OCD and _hated_ (and still hate) my hands staying a little wet after washing them. But whatever: I'd always be "playing with the dryer" after the 3 minutes or so was up. So she'd stop the next man about to go in or just came out and say, "Will you tell a little blond boy who is playing with the hand dryer to GET OUT NOW before his mother gets mad". She says they'd smirk a little, go in, do exactly that, and I'd come flying out.
