I'd prefer a men's room but eventually society will probably change. Doesn't bother me either way really but I have a friend who was struggling with the issue of "what to do" with public bathrooms and her son, who is 6 now. She's concerned about all the horror stories that all mother's hear about bathrooms, abductions, and other yucky scenarios. Of course they're uncommon but they _can_ happen and I feel bad for her. I mean, if she could just go in with him and just wait outside the stall, life would be simpler. And really, she *can* - I've seen mothers/grandmothers do that - just walk right in and stand there. A couple of raised eyebrows, but nobody cared really. Mother's gotta do what a mother's gotta do, although seems most mothers just send their kids in - wait outside I guess. I dunno - never really paid much attention 'til she brought it up. But having experienced it the other way, with non-gender bathroom, I didn't notice any difference after a day or two of getting used to to it. I don't know how it would work in public bathroom situations but it seemed logical. I just felt bad for her.
