TODAY 9 YEARS AGO: I released "Twitter Submitter" - a way for
   people to use Twitter from within Windows *or* the command
   prompt. Nine years ago. December 10, 2006. A number of more
   well-known Twitter interfaces based themselves off of my initial
   thing. A few of them made money . I was cool with that smile
   emoticon
   Facebook was young then too. They'd JUST opened up FB to all
   users with valid email addresses but i remember when it was just
   for University emails... and I had to resurrect my old one from
   the dustbin just to get on. Never expected FB to take off... or
   Twitter.. but both did.
