Well it wouldn't be nothing, just not-even-wrong. Might be a
   field in the wrong university department, better suited for
   Metaphysics (perhaps a Metaphysical Mathematics) than Science.
   Or perhaps Science needs its definitions changed. It's a good
   debate - and [1]Jestin LeBaron I believe in the article they
   make some mention of the hypothesis idea; either in the article
   itself or if you scroll down to the comments below it. It's a
   good read. Very good comments section as well, although I only
   read a few so far.
