Oh, as far as Bible stuff goes, I was raised Methodist (Christian) which was more humanist than anything. In my mid-20s I converted to Eastern Orthodox and learned a lot of history they didn't each me in school. I was "Mr Science" for about 10 years after that, and now I'm integrating my opinions as best I can. I've been agnostic for about... i guess 15 years now. But somewhere along the line, I adopted this basic view of Church history: [not EXACTLY this at all, but it's the 'gist'] I'd make a number of changes to it. (this is one I saw recently) But because i have this view of religious history (more or less), I don't see picking weird stuff out of a document to be useful, as they're out of historical context.
