Indeed. I see them as the atomic unit - the relationship as the
   atomic unit, since none exist in isolation. When'd you ever see
   an individual neuron without a community for it to interact
   with? smile emoticon Two neurons have their tendencies. They
   fire into each other, or one fires one way, the other receives -
   however one wants to put it. They can sync with each other if
   they're close enough, changing both. Very fluid stuff.
   Resistance to change provides the apparent structures /
   objectiveness. It's a kind of inertia. It might be inertia. But
   the resistance to change isn't equivalent to 'cold hard fact' /
   objective truth. It's one of the things that makes even
   mathematics not quite perfect
