I don't buy it. Musk + Hawking are wrong. Why? People. It's not
   going to happen because there's watchdogs *like them* watching.
   In short, by participating in the system, they're changing it.
   That's why I don't worry about it, - doomsday isn't coming. To
   me, doomsday is just a reverberation of western civ's post
   reformation obsession with apocolypse and utopia alike. I have
   yet to see a utopia. I have yet to see an apocalypse. Internet
   is the closest thing to a utopia honestly, though, so we have
   this at least. In short, other people can get worked up over it.
   I don't have to. There will always be people who get worked up
   over change. They prevent it from occurring or slow it down.
   Frees me up from worrying about it.
