Modern quantum mechanics theories are heavily influenced by the
   influx of Western-style Buddhism from the 50s+ 60s. The smarter
   hippies. From the SAME connection that brings us Deepak Chopra
   _also_ brought us "the Universe is Mathematics" Max Tegmark,
   "The Universe is a Hologram", Multiverse, etc. Same connection,
   different paths. It's why you see some Buddhist influence on
   some of the more radical/fascinating theories: Hippies. Usually
