Oh it wasn't much. Maybe he didn't know or was just exaggerating
   for affect. The "we're all made of stars" thing from ancient
   times was actually from a lecture by a fellow canadian
   astronomer in 1916. Traced it back - couldn't find anything any
   further than that. Inspiratonal - and I suppose in some sense it
   *could* be considered from ancient times if you put together
   various mythologies and read them that way - but from a
   literature pov, he kinda plagurised it, willingly or
   unknowingly. No biggie really but I was a little disappointed.
   Then again, he used it in 1973 with his book and it *kinda* made
   him famous, so he's wasn't about to let that gem go by. It has
   the mystique and the wonder and all that. I like it.
