That makes sense to me. I always found journalist writings to be
   too simple. That I write at a 6th grade level would make look
   down at the 5th graders I guess tongue emoticon I can write at
   higher levels but trying to keep my readability around 6th grade
   is one of those long term goals I keep working at. I never know
   the level of my audience yet it has to be comfortable for me. I
   don't think I'd be fully comfortable writing at a 5th grade,
   journalistic level - at least not without some practice - but
   6th grade I can do without thinking about it too hard. I just
   have to add more periods than I want to. [were it up to me, I'd
   write long run-on sentences tongue emoticon ]
