The medicinal angle, which I _think_ was one of Kallistos Ware's things, although i don't remember, was very influential as well. Methodist they'd mention a similar idea but it was rather vague and wasn't really stressed much. More of a clever thing. But here, they really meant it through and through. I found it to be very powerful and honestly, still do, as I never believed in evil - I can't say I honestly know *what* that is, but I do believe in sickness and unhealth and the potential for healing to one's capabilities. By what means? Whatever means are available. === Indeed. Magical is as good as a way to say it as any. People can describe the processes all they like - and I love learning processes and systems and mechanisms - yet it takes away none of the magic but rather increases it. ==
