studied Blissymbolics many years ago. Found an old book from the
   1950s in a used bookstore. It was a well-spent $1.00. Icon-based
   universal languages can be tricky if they're forced, but as
   emoji communication continues as a natural extension of our
   native languages, it could easily replace writing. I've had
   whole conversations in emoji. You just "know" you've
   communicated successfully - it's a neat
