It's at too fine a level there but that's nice to see the formulas - been a while. I think you'd get better answers in the 'math of chemistry' rather than standard math. and even chemistry is too low a level - I think biochemistry is likely a better option, combined with cognitive psychology as they can use the scans and statistical analysis together. Pure math+pure physics is too low-level, although it can be a supporting tool in investigations. 'math of emotions'
