Well, the list I was was a mailing list, so it was definitely email - sad thing to me is that I believed that the information would always remain "out there" somewhere, somehow. Usenet was good at saving everything and AOL also kept everything, and I knew I could always transfer information from one mailbox to another if I had to. But little things I never considered: that the University that was hosting the MINISTRY list (I didn't go there - I just convinced a sys admin to host it there via a few emails and they were kind) - might someday remove the archives. Never thought AOL would wipe the forums (I think it did that in 2007)... and never thought I'd lose access to old emailbox boxes or that servers would close down services. I don't worry significantly about it, but a little piece of me wonders where our words will be in 1000 years What will future archeologists have to work with from this era? I suppose I'm an archiver at heart smile emoticon
