Oh I like how you think there. Yes, that's definitely one of a few ideas I had for it - the quick fading of idealism into realism and ALL the work required but if you keep at it long enough, right at the VERY END if you don't give up, you get a final burst of idealism just at the end... ...only to start all over again smile emoticon == Yes grin emoticon The process of process - I like that smile emoticon I have other thoughts for it as well: if you notice he's blue both at the end and beginning: - the snake eating its tail situation - end=beginning, simultaneous while also distinct. I was thinking it could also be the process of life. Start off enthusiastic, start to get tainted as the world comes at you, struggle through and then towards the end, you regain the childhood back. Same idea as the idealism come to think of it, just laid over the life process. Still my favorite is kind of a quantum thing going on. The start and the goal are one and the same. Not so much a loop in that case: not really the snake eating its tail... but that the beginning and end happen simultaneously as a single event. all the middle stuff is hidden from view. I guess kind of a Heidegger situation there. == Yes - I agree! In a similar/same way, I don't believe there are really "circle" as time marches forward as it does, so something that appears to be looping is really spiraling forward through time, and you carry with you everything you learned on each turn, so that each circle is never exactly the same but more than it already is. At the very _worst_, the circle could be like a coilsping. But at it's best, it spirals outwards to larger and larger and greater amounts. "never step in the same river twice" kind of thing.... "can never go home again" - that sort of thing. ['cause once you leave home, you've grown bigger than the home can contain... metaphorical home of course - the home = past you with the current you being a larger you than the past you was, etc. ==
