Well, people don't always fall neatly along binary lines. I
   don't either. I've always been independent and even here, I am.
   I never felt represented by either party because I can see some
   thing that the dems do right and some they do wrong, and some
   things that the repubs do right and they do wrong. So, for me,
   given a choice between, say, a moderate republican or a moderate
   democrat whose values were similar enough to mine, I could go
   either way. So, if someone is prone to extremism alone: an "I
   hate big government and it needs to radically change" just wants
   change. How they get it isn't as important that they get it.
