Oh it's ok. They were closer to "bully friends" than
   friend-friends. It worked out though. That was in like 1987. In
   1989 ,I got my first modem. 300 bps. Got online to local BBS'
   and to PC-Link (precursor to AOL) and then in 1990, the Internet
   at college. Mailing lists, IRC chat... ...and my world opened
   up. I found other "me"'s out there. Out.. here, really. That's
   why I love it so much. == B4 Internet, I had public library, and
   CB radio was my chat room. Had a big antenna on my garage roof
   and I happily talked to strangers and made new friends. I was
   made for the Internet smile emoticon ==
