I'm exploring all possibilities. In the world of the thought experiment, we know that x cannot = "SALAMI" [or whatever]. Therefore, without any ADDITIONAL constraints upon the system, x can equal anything else. It is an open variable with one single rule: It cannot = "SALAMI". This says nothing else about what it *can* be. The possibilities are _almost_ endless. == It's a useful tool within the scope in which it functions. I wouldn't utilize it as a foundation of the Universe. I suppose one could but all those excluded middles would have no place to go. == Mathematician: "Everything follows the rules of math". Chemist: "Everything is chemistry" Logician: "Everything is based on logic" Evolutionary Biologist: "Everything analogized successfully to Evolution". Take your pick. Or don't. ==
