In 1990, I created Y-RIGHTS - a mailing list for the rights of kids/teens when I was 18. Ran it for a few years. David Deutsch was one of the members. Him and a friend were into parenting rights. The two of them were talking in a style too academic for the style of the list, so I showed them how to start their own mailing list. That became Taking Children Seriously (TCS) - it's still around today. He talked WAY over my head at the time as well as most others, and it was cluttering up the general discussion. I didn't exactly kick him out - he stayed a member and participated... I just wanted them to move their heavy discussion elsewhere. They were uber libertarian and, well, it was kinda annoying tbh.
