it's awesome -- you got that speeding up part real good - the song has a bunch of tempo changes in it which makes it tricky .... especially when you have to wait [I could almost hear my own inner clock ticking, waiting for the next chord] == yeah - I loved the improvisations. To me, improvisation shows that you know the song well enough to put your own spin on it.. like emoticon == [although I think at least for me, it's 'cause I can't "leave a song alone" - I *have* to mess with it] tongue emoticon == Duplication is for computers anyway. I mean, ppl who can duplicate songs perfectly, I think that's great. I'd get stressed out whenever I had to do it 'perfect'. So, I improvise. One of my favorite things is playing with the style of a song. Like, taking a song in a major key and making it minor... or adding an "oom-pah" when it's supposed to be slow and serious... combining the funeral march and the wedding march is still one of my favorite things, especially if ppl don't notice I did it right away. tongue emoticon == lol same here. It's like, "um , yeah, like, I meant to do that you know... yeah.. planned it all along... yeah... " ::crossing fingers, hoping nobody spots it ::: == Definitely high quality movie music stuff here. It was melancholy, leaves falling, sadness - but then right at the end, everything was ok. Loved the bit at 0:53 - it was like, "Oh good, something good's coming. Is it coming? Oh I hope it is!"... ..and then.... nope. Leaves are falling, rain is dripping, I'll make it through another day I hope... Yeah - this definitely needs an animation with it. ==
